Women's Ministry

The Women's Ministry provides two major Bible studies. Joy in the Morning is held on Tuesday mornings. Wednesday Night Ladies Bible Study is held every other Wednesday night.

We have two major fellowships a year and go on retreats together.

Along with the Iron Men men's ministry, we also provide a wonderful mentoring ministry.

Joy in the Morning

Ladies of all ages are invited to come on Tuesdays in the months of September through May from 9:00 to 11:30 a.m. Enjoy a time of prayer, music, Bible study and crafts. We enjoy brunch each week and free childcare is provided for children.

MOPS: Meeting the Needs of Mothers of Preschoolers in Topeka

MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers, and our MOPS group in the heart of Topeka exists to meet the needs of every mom - urban, suburban and rural moms, stay-at-home and working moms, teen, single and married moms - moms with different lifestyles who all share a similar desire to be the very best moms they can be! MOPS recognizes that the years from infancy through kindergarten are foundational in a mother-child relationship and are filled with unique needs.

MOPS helps moms through relationships established in the context of local groups that provide a caring atmosphere for today's mother of young children.

This 2008-2009 school year our theme is ADVENTURES IN MOTHERING. We meet on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month from 9:30am till 11:30 am.

Registration and a fee of $75.00 needs to be paid to First Southern Baptist Church.
