Iron Men - Men's Ministry

The objective of the Iron Men Ministry is to lead men to an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ. Programs and events are designed to equip men to become Godly leaders in the home, church, workplace, and neighborhood. As "Iron sharpens Iron" (Proverbs 27:17), men sharpen one another in weekly lunch meetings, small groups, morning prayer meetings and mentoring relationships. Men are also encouraged in their Christian walk through retreats, sports outings, and other activities. Through these events, men of all ages learn to serve the church, the community, and one another.

Ed Swift 'Director of Men's Ministry'

It is trully an honor and a blessing to serve as the director of the Men's Ministry here at First Southern Baptist Church. God has trully blessed our church with a diversity of ministries to meet the needs of our church family and the community. The passion that our pastor and every ministry director shares is to make an eternal impact within our church family and the community.

The Men's Ministry objective is to:

*Evangelize men to church membership

*Evangelize men to spiritual maturity

*Equiping men to ministry

*Extending men on mission

Throughout the year the Men's Ministry schedules and organizes events to help meet our objectives. We are excited about what God is doing in our ministry and our church. God has a plan for your life and we want you to be a part of the Men's Ministry here at First Southern Baptist Church!
